Miami County Clerk, Janet White, wants to remind people that today is the last day to register to vote in the November General Election. You can register at the Clerk’s Office until close of business today, or online at “votek-s.org” until 11:59 tonight. White says advanced ballots will be mailed out tomorrow. She says she will be mailing out nearly 3,300 ballots.
Miami County voters will be able to return those by mail or save the postage and drop it off at one of the four Official Ballot Drop Boxes across the County. There is a box outside the County Administration Building, outside the Louisburg City Hall, the Osawatomie Post Office parking lot, and, in Spring Hill, at the USD 230 District Office. White says the drop boxes will be open Thursday through Tuesday, November 3rd at 7:00 in the evening. County residents can also bring their ballot to the County Clerk’s Office. Mailed ballots must be postmarked no later than Tuesday November 3rd, and must be received by Friday, November 6th
