Miami County businesses could be eligible to receive up to $3,000 in Grant money from the Strengthening People and Revitalizing Kansas, commonly known a “SPARK”. Nearly $7 million was provided directly to Miami County to assist with the local impacts to the County’s economy, families, healthcare, schools and communities. The Miami County Commission set aside $100,000 to assist businesses. To qualify, businesses and nonprofit organizations must show they need the funding due to revenue losses generated by the impacts of COVID 19. This includes revenue lost due to event cancellations, business closures or lost sales.

You can find out more information by visiting the Miami County Website, including where to obtain an application for the funds.
