The 2020 Census is ending today. The U. S. Supreme Court ruled yesterday the Court could officially stop as of 6:00 p.m. tonight. The affects of being undercounted are huge, as a huge amount of Federal money will be lost with an inaccurate count.
Governor Laura Kelly on the importance of the Census:
For every household missed, Kansas misses out on about $50,000 in Federal Funding. As of yesterday, Franklin County had only 72% response rate, with Ottawa also at 72%. Wellsville at 74, Pomona at 61%, Lane and 65 and Rantoul at only 56%.
Again, today is the final day of the Census. Be counted!!
