Big changes coming to the Anderson County and Allen County Hospitals in regard to visitor restrictions. The Saint Luke’s Health System has moved the two hospitals to Level 4 Restrictions. With the continued spread of COVID 19, Anderson County Hospital and Allen County Regional Hospital have revised their visitor guidelines to further protect patients and care team members. Level 4 Restricted Visitor Guidelines allow one visitor per patient per day, no visitor re-entry, and no visitors under the age of 14. No visitors will be allowed in the Emergency Departments. There are exceptions for patients under 18 or for patients who are cognitively impaired. In addition, along with symptom and exposure screening upon arrival, visitors must wear masks at all times. A cloth mask is acceptable as long as it covers your nose and mouth. Visitors are not allowed to wear gaiters, bandanas, masks with vents or valves, and face shields. They encourage medical grade masks and can provide visitors one for each visit.

The Level 4 Restriction goes into affect tomorrow morning at 7:00.
