The Ottawa City Commission has approved vacating an easement at 35 Westwood and this clears the way for the developer to build a new home on the spot. The developer has previously complained that it takes too long to get such routine matters taken car of. Ottawa Community Development Director, Wyndee Lee, noted that a lot of situations cannot be quickly completed:
In other business the City Commission approved holding two Public Hearings for dilapidated houses located at 628 South Willow and 819 East 8th Street in Ottawa. The hearings will be held at the December second meeting.
