The Franklin County Health Department announced yesterday that two more county residents died over the weekend due to COVID 19.
Ten new cases of COVID have been reported since Friday. One case that was reported last week is not a Franklin County resident and has been removed from the total case count. There are 37 pending test results and five hospitalizations have been reported. Since the pandemic started, the County has had 532 cases. Statewide, the COVID case count reached over 78,000. Health Officials, both at the state level and local level, encourage everyone to continue to practice safety protocols by wearing a mask, washing hands thoroughly and often, avoiding large crowds, and get a flu shot as soon as possible
