A recent complaint by an Ottawa developer that getting approval for various projects through City Hall takes too long, has set off a bit of soul searching among Ottawa City Officials. At the Ottawa Planning Commission Study Session, Community Development Director, Wyndee Lee says people have to understand something; when it comes to construction projects and protecting property rights, it takes time to make sure everything is done right:
