The Ottawa Recreation Center has a new Executive Director. Levi Meyer was introduced recently. He is Kansas born and raised. He most recently served as the Operations Coordinator at the University of Kansas in the Recreation Services Department. He has set some goals for the ORC, including increasing ORC’s involvement in the Community, increasing Community involvement with ORC programs, and providing a service and experience that is available to all families in the community. Meyer says he believes that health, wellness and sports programs are the key pieces to Community Development. He is excited to build relationships and continue providing the great things the ORC offers Ottawa and the surrounding communities.
