The West Franklin Middle School and High School students will move to all remote learning starting today through November 13th.
School Officials say the recent increase in student COVID 19 cases, along with a couple of staff members testing positive this weekend, school officials, in conjunction with the Franklin County Health Department, made the decision to move into remote learning. All extracurricular activities will also be suspended until November 16th, the opening of Winter sports practices.
They encourage any student or staff member that develop symptoms during the remote learning period, to contact the Franklin County Health Department to schedule a test.
Breakfast and lunches will be available for pick up at the attendance center closest to the students’ home, including Appanoose and Williamsburg.
