Even though the COVID pandemic has put a halt to the Annual Veterans Day Parade in Ottawa, that has not stopped local veteran organizations from honoring all the fallen Vets who have so honorably served our Nation. There will be a brief ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Downtown Ottawa this morning at 11:00.
There are many displays at City Park, including a field of flags, a very moving Memorial to each Veteran in Franklin County who died for their Country, a display of soldiers marching through a field, military vehicles and much more.
Go to City Park this weekend with your family, explain to your children or grandchildren the importance of the displays and how their freedoms today are based on what the brave men and women of the military have done and continue to do, to assure the liberty of our great Nation.
