The possibility of going to year round school is a big issue right now in the Ottaw School District and it was also a big topic at the Ottawa School Board Meeting. Board Member, Chris Cunningham recently lost a young child in a tragic farm accident. He noted that accepting something different is always a challenge and he cited his recent loss:
The Board has not made any decision yet on the matter and officials say if the Ottawa School District does adopt year round school, it would take several years to implement.
