The West Franklin School District is facing a dilemma many other schools are facing. A possible shutdown because of the COVID 19 crisis. During the Regular School Board Meeting, Superintendent Jerry Turner noted that things are at a crisis point:
After extensive discussion, the Board gave Turner the authority to make the decision on if ,or when, to shutdown the District In Person Learning. Turner says he needs to consult with some school officials, but a decision is expected very shortly.
