The Ottawa City Commission has approved a resolution urging everybody to wear masks to help slow the COVID 19 pandemic. City Manager Richard Nienstedt says people have to take COVID seriously:
Nienstedt emphasizes that the Resolution is not a Mandate, but urges voluntary compliance. Commissioners have discussed making the mask rule a Mandate if voluntary compliance fails.
