The Ottawa City Commission has approved a resolution urging everybody to wear masks to help slow the COVID 19 pandemic. City Manager Richard Nienstedt says people have to take COVID seriously:
Nienstedt emphasizes that the Resolution is not a Mandate, but urges voluntary compliance. Commissioners have discussed making the mask rule a Mandate if voluntary compliance fails. The County has seen 52 new cases since Monday and has 229 active cases. County Health Officer, Dr. Bud Ransom will be our guest this morning on KOFO to discuss the issue.
