Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner has asked the public for help in fighting the spread of the virus. The Police Department provides a vital service to the people of Ottawa and he is asking everyone to step up their effort to protect, not only themselves, but others:
All officers have been wearing masks and keeping as socially distant as possible for many months. Weingartner says he will continue to push for safety of the officers and every citizen they encounter.
