A traffic reminder for you. The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad has closed the Richter crossing for repair. That’s the crossing on K-68 west of Ottawa. The crossing located between Idaho and Georgia Roads. It was closed to through traffic starting yesterday morning and will remain closed until repairs are complete. Railroad officials say that the repairs should be complete by Tuesday afternoon at 5:00. If you are traveling in this area, you need to take an alternative route.
