This past week, the Kansas City Fire Department lost one of its own to COVID 19, that was contracted in the line of duty. Paramedic and Communications Specialist Scott Davidson’s body will be taken to Wichita this morning. The procession will move along I-35 and go through the Ottawa area at approximately 11:30. If you happen to be on the highway at this time, please pull aside, not matter which direction you are traveling and allow the procession pass peacefully, in honor of Davidson. Fire Departments along the way will be saluting the caravan as it passes. The Ottawa Fire Department will be honoring Davidson on the Eisenhower overpass.
