A procession, carrying the body of Kansas City Fire Department’s Scott Davidson, passed through Franklin County on their way to Wichita. Every overpass in the County had representatives of some Law Enforcement, EMS Unit or Fire Department on it, honoring Davidson. The Ottawa Fire Department paid tribute on the Eisenhower Road Overpass.
Davidson died of COVID 19, contracted in the line of duty. The procession passed the Eisenhower overpass at 11:40 and exited the County at 11:52.
KOFO would like to thank all those who stopped along the highway as the procession passed, to pay tribute to Davidson. Reports indicate that cars were stopped in both directions,as they passed, some out of their cars standing silently.
