The Ottawa Strong Blessing Box is handing out a Free Grab and Go Hot Lunch today at Forest Park. It’s going on right now. There are no questions asked. If you would like a hot meal whether you are homeless, forgot to bring a lunch to work, maybe too lazy to cook today, or know someone who needs a good meal… no matter, all are welcome to get a free hot meal. The meal is sponsored by the Ottawa Strong Blessing Box, who’s goal is to provide food for anyone in need. There are Blessing Boxes behind the Goat Milk Soap Store at Second and Main and a Box at 5th and Main in Downtown Ottawa.
The meal is being held at the Shelter House Between the Playground and the Dog Park.
The Ottawa Strong Organization has received large monetary donation from several businesses and a large food donation from WalMart DC. They also recently filled the Williamsburg Blessing Box, as it was in need.
