Did you notice you were paying less for groceries in November? There are reasons why. chief USDA Food Economist, Carolyn Chelius, says food prices tend to go down every November and this year was no different:

As a matter of fact, prices on nearly all food items were down in November. Why? Grocery stores tend to run a lot of sales on items they know people will be using for holiday meals. Food prices have dropped in November for 14 consecutive years.
