The Franklin County Health Department received its first allocation of the COVID 19 vaccination yesterday and immediately began administering it to their staff, as well as the Franklin County EMS and Ottawa Fire Department staff. This, coming after the Health Department reported 120 new cases of COVID since Monday. Fifteen of those were reported late and have already recovered, unfortunately another death was also reported. This brought the Active Case count back up to 186 and Total Positive cases to nearly 1,600 since the pandemic began. Interim Health Director, Nick Robbins, says there has been an outbreak at a nursing facility:
