There is an increased call to continue following COVID Safety Protocol, even as the vaccine is rolled out. Why? Because the vast majority of people won’t be able to get the vaccine for several months and officials say that now is not the time to let your guard down. The City of Ottawa has masks available, at no charge, to anyone who wants them. City Manager Richard Nienstedt:
The first shipment of the COVID vaccine arrived in Franklin County last week. It is going to front line workers and will be distributed to those living in assisted living facilities.
