Anybody feel the earthquake this morning about 5:10 this morning? A quake measuring 3.8 on the Richter Scale was centered five miles east of Wichita and apparently rattled shelves and shook houses throughout the area. A friend of mine in Wichita says it was the strongest he has felt in the area, that’s been rattled with a series of quakes this month. He says the whole house shook and that a neighbor called saying it woke her up and knocked things off the wall and from shelves.
As for here, I noticed a strange vibration and my computer screens rattled just enough to notice.
The 3.8 quake this morning was the largest quake this year in Kansas since a 4.5 quake rattled Hutchinson about a year ago.
