A partnership between Ottawa High School and the Ottawa Police Foundation has led to the hiring of the department’s first Police Cadet. OHS 2020 graduate, Audrey Hook, began her duties, after a Swearing In Ceremony yesterday. Police Chief Adam Weingartner talks about the Foundation:
Hook went through four years of the “Law, Public Safety and Security Program” at OHS. Weingartner praised instructor Candie Campbell for her passion for Criminal Justice and providing each student an opportunity to grow and learn.
