If you still haven’t taken down your Christmas tree, go ahead and enjoy it, but, if you have a real tree and are wondering how you are going to get rid of it once it is down, the City of Ottawa has a tree drop off site available for you to safely dispose of the tree. Ottawa has designated the asphalt parking lot to the east of Orlis Cox Baseball Complex as the drop off site this year. Please make sure you strip off all the decorations and is free of any plastic before dropping it off. They ask that you take your tree as far northeast as possible in the lot.
You need to get your tree down and to the site before Friday. City Crews will begin removal of any trees on the site that day.
