The Ottawa City Commission held their Annual Reorganizational Meeting yesterday. Franklin County’s Elected Officials were sworn into Office by the Honorable Kevin Kimball; but, due to COVID 19 restrictions and local Public Health Guidelines, the ceremony was held online via Zoom. Everyone responded as one. Congratulations to those taking their Oaths of Office. Rod Harris, Commissioner for the 3nd District; Roy Dunn, Commissioner for the 3rd District; Brandon Jones, County Attorney; Sue McCay, Register of Deeds; Janet Paddock, County Clerk; and Jeff Richards, Sheriff.
The Commission also bid farewell to Commissioner Rick Howard, who served as the 2nd District Commissioner for eight years.
