Unsung Heroes… every year the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes several people for making Ottawa and Franklin County a better place to live and work. The community’s highest recognition is the Russel Crites Award for service above and beyond self, to help the greater good of the community…and there were several of those in the past year.
This year they are holding the Annual Award Banquet on May 26th at the ORC Goppert Center. You can nominate people for the award by going to the Chamber Facebook Page or Website. The award categories are: the Russell Crites Award, Community Builder Award, Entrepreneur of the Year, Horizon Award, and the Smile of the Year. Nominate those in the community who make a significant contribution to Ottawa and Franklin County. Nominations are due by May 14th.
