The Airport Advisory Board will be getting two new members at next week’s Ottawa City Commission Meeting. Long time pilot, Jack Miller and relatively new pilot, Luke Douglas, will be appointed. Commissioners Mike Skidmore and Eric Crowley shared their thoughts on the two:
Miller was an original member of the Airport Board and resigned in 2016, but has renewed interest in seeing the airport grow and expand. He was instrumental in bringing new t-hangers and an automated weather observation station to the airport.
