When Ottawa Middle School was built, nearly 25 years ago, it was then most technologically advanced building in USD 290 and the hub of the districts internet connectivity. Times have changed, other building upgrades and now OMS is about to get a major upgrade, thanks in part to District Tech Director, Dean Grell. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs:
USD 290 will only be responsible for about $20,000 of the total cost to bring OMS up to the same level of internet capability as the other schools in town.
