Schools in the Wellsville School District will get some major renovation if a School Bond Issue is approved May 19th. The Bond consists of two questions. Chuck Rutledge is a City Council Member and is also helping to sponsor the Bond. He says if both questions are passed, some classrooms will be modernized:
Rutledge says all entrances at all buildings would be secured so that all visitors have to report to the office instead of staying in the lobby. The first question involves about 11 million 625 thousand dollars in repairs. The second question would total about 18 million, 105 thousand dollars. If the second question is approved, it would include all the repairs listed in the first question as well as additional work at the buildings.
