The Franklin County Commission approved a number of funding requests from the Transient Guest Tax Fund during its regular meeting. County Officials listed some of the organizations asking for funding. Communications Director, Kaycee Brady and County Administrator, Derek Brown, discussed a request from organizers of the Ol’ Marais River Run Car Show:
Browns says the car show is the largest contributor to the Transient Guest Tax Fund, so it only makes sense to use that fund to help promote the event.
