The Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet, the so-called “Grill and Chill”, was held last night at the Fairgrounds Community Building. Justin Zook did the grilling, Dutch Country Café provided sides and desserts and Trevor Holman provided musical entertainment. Two guest speakers highlighted the night, Alec Cook and Tom Lesnak; but, what about the Award Winners, you say?
After some incredible nominations from all across the community, the Volunteer of the Year Award was given to Everett Cox for all he does in the community. The winner of the Organization of the Year was given to the Garnett Volunteer Fire Department. Business of the Year and Chamber Champion Award went to 6th Avenue Boutique and Western Wear. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners.
