Ottawa University Board of Trustees Chairman, Lucky Defries, announced today that Dr. William Tsutsui has been selected to serve as University President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1st. Dr. Tsutsui will succeed Chancellor Kevin Eichner, who will continue to serve the University as Chancellor Emeritus through his contract period, ending June 30, 2022.
Educated at Harvard, Oxford and Princeton Universities, Dr. Tsutsui brings a wealth of higher education experience to his Chief Executive Position at Ottawa University. He started his academic career at the University of Kansas, where he spent 17 years as a faculty member and in various administrative roles.
