After a long year of being cooped up under COVID restrictions, the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce, Ottawa Main Street and the Ottawa Recreation Commission are working together to find ways to open the city back up. The first may be what is deemed “Summerfest”. Chamber Director, John Coen:
They have requested the entire 200 block of Main be blocked off starting at 10:00 that morning, with a variety of events happening, from antique care displays, multiple bands playing, games, vendors and more. The City Commission will discuss the event further at tonight’s meeting.
