Self-sufficiency is something that most everyone want to have, but sometimes they need help getting there. the Ottawa City Commission has approved a Proclamation recognizing the month of May as Community Action Month. Teresia Templeton of ECKAN accepted the Proclamation and related one self-sufficiency success story:
