The Garnett BPW Square Fair is back and stronger than ever this year. The event will be held tomorrow on the Historic Downtown Square in Garnett. An incredible event filled with retail, arts and craft vendors, food trucks and, of course, live entertainment throughout the day. Other events are happening during the day also, starting early. Come hungry in the morning, as the Garnett fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary Breakfast will fill that “tummy” and get you ready for the day. Also, the Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild Show at the Garnett Senior Center. The whole event runs from 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.
The Garnett Air Fair, normally held in conjunction with the Square Fair, has been postponed two weeks. It will now be held on May 22nd. Airport Manager, Pat Shettler, said all the same events, plus more, will be included. You can see a “Fly In” by dozens of airplanes, check out static aircraft displays, go on a jeep ride, even an airplane ride in a biplane. There will be food, games and many more activities at the 2021 Air Fair, now scheduled for May 22, beginning at 8:00 in the morning.
