Yesterday morning at 10:48, Osage County Deputies responded to a call of a possible burglary in progress in the 7000 block of East 197th Street. The property owner located and detained the suspects until the police arrived. The police took two subjects into custody and transported them to the Osage County Jail Facility. Michael W. Smith and Melissa A. Jackson, were both arrested on suspicion of Burglary, Criminal Trespassing and Theft. Smith was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
