Yesterday the retirement of an important officer in the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was announced. It was a long and distinguished career. One filled with probing, searching and overreaction to certain stimuli. It’s not often a Canine Unit gets recognition over the airways but that’s what happened yesterday as Franklin County Dispatch paid tribute to Quanto:
Quanto has faithfully served Franklin County for over five years and has been invaluable to the Department in a huge variety of ways. A new Canine Officer, Duke, will take over for him on May 21st.
Thanks Quanto and welcome Duke!
