The City of Ottawa shut the flood gates across the Marais Des Cygnes River in Downtown Ottawa at 1:00 this afternoon. Rising waters, a huge backlog of debris and the threat of more water entering the system up stream, will lead to possible flood conditions in the area. With the K-68 bridge down to one lane, expect delays as you travel from one side of the City to the other. Don’t forget, you can go to I-35 and work your way down to the Ottawa Exit you need.
