The Ottawa School District has been notified that it’ll be getting millions of dollars, due to the latest American Rescue Plan, approved by Congress and signed by President Biden. The school money is known officially as ESSER Three Funds. School Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs, says it was more than what he expected:
Last night the School Board approved purchasing several hundred thousand dollars in new text materials for math and social studies. The money was also provided by Federal COVID Relief Programs.
