Hope House of Ottawa, who serves so many people in the Community, in so many ways, needs some help. this tiem they don’t need donations of food or clothing; they need a donation of time… today.
The basement in the building flooded last week and they spent yesterday clearing it oyt, removing tile an other items from the room. Director of Hope House, Mary Lois Yates, is asking for volunteers to help with the project. She says people need to bring shovels, if possible, so they can get the basement cleared as quickly as possible so it will dry quicker.
If you have a little time, please head down to Hope House, on the corner of Third and Walnut, tomorrow morning at 8:30. Let’s see if our Community can come together and give them hope, just as they have given hope to so many people in the area.
They plan to get started at 8:30 in the morning.
