The Cherry Street Wesleyan Church Fellowship Hall in North Ottawa became a Fire Station for a short time last week. Ottawa Fire Chief, Tim Matthias, says the situation required some special arrangements, due to construction on the K-68 Bridge and the closing of the flood gates:
Matthias says they had five medical calls and one fire call while stationed at the church.
