The City of Osawatomie has five main goals going forward and one of those is to clean up the city. Those efforts started last year when they entered a contract with Waste Management to provide trash service to everyone in the community. Osawatomie City Manager, Mike Scanlon, says they know that part of the plan is working:
The four other goals are repair and maintenance of streets, economic development, adding housing of all types and improving infrastructure.
