The Wellsville Police Department is going to get a little help when investigations become complex. During the regular City Council Meeting, Police Chief Danny Hackler made a request:
The situation mentioned involved Kansas 5th District Representative Mark Samsel, who was arrested for assault on a student in an incident that occurred while he was working as a substitute teacher at Wellsville High School.
The Police Department will have a clerk get some training at a cost of almost $600. The City Council Approved the request.
