Opening a public school in the middle of a pandemic. That was the issue facing area school districts as they prepared for the past school year. Some opened virtually, some in Hybrid Models, that had some kids come some days, other kids on different days. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs says that USD 290 School Officials, after talking with teachers, had a different idea:
