The Franklin County Commission has approved participating in a program that will help college students pay off their student loans, under certain conditions. Franklin County Development Council Executive Director, Paul Bean, explained the program:
Bean says if all conditions are met, a student could get up to $3,000 per year for five years. the County Commission voted to contribute $7,500 toward the program.
