With the school year over, USD 289 Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs, reflecting back over the year, says COVID 19, fortunately played a very minimal roll in the students lives at school. He says there were no instances of a student contracting the virus at school. There were, or course, some positive cases, but all those were traced to outside sources. He says several things were big contributors to the districts success:
He adds that having the staff, students and parents all buy into the protocols was another huge reason they year went so well. He expects to be “back to normal” next year; however, many of the hygiene and sanitation practices will remain.
