A new and safer taxiway at the Ottawa Municipal Airport appears to be clearing the last of the hurdles. The City Commission has approved various contracts for various facets of he construction. Ottawa Public Works Director, Michael Haeffele and Airport Consultant, Brad Waller, discussed the project:
The project will cost over $800,000 with the Federal Government picking up almost all the cost. Work is expected to start next Spring.
