The City of Ottawa now officially has a Land Bank. The City Commission held an organizing meeting and discussed various ways of setting up the agency. The Bank is designed to develop idle plots of land, spurring economic activity. Commissioner Mike Skidmore had a question for Community Development Director Wyndee Lee:
The City Commission is acting as Trustees of the Land Bank; additional meetings are scheduled to begin making use of the Bank as a Development Tool.
