Sunday marks the 77th Anniversary of the Normandy Invasion, or D-Day. The largest seaborne invasion in history. The operation, carried out by the United States Military and it’s allies, began the liberation of France from Nazi Germany in World War II. USDA’s Gary Crawford, says the soldiers were well fed:

At least 10,000 allied soldiers were either killed or injured that day, as the invasion laid the foundations of the allied victory on the Western Front.
