The proposed changes in cemetery decoration rule have come under fire from many residents in the community, who are concerned about loved ones buried in the cemeteries. Ottawa Public Works Director, Michael Haeffele, says several families reached out to him:
Due to public concerns and some concerns from the City Commission, the issue was put on hold until the Commission Meeting on June 21st.
